		<description>@Chris - thanks for the comment. The only downtime we have had with G Apps has been due to a power cut and our own wireless network problems. Not had an outage from their side. It is still in BETA which is often forgotten so, it has its quirks which is understandable - I explained what BETA is to the Year 5&#039;s as opposed to saying it&#039;s another problem. They understand and accept that they are part of the development of the the tool in a small way.</description>

I like the idea of Google Apps a lot.  The constant battle I have to face is with the IT department and the Head over security and data confidentiallity.  It&#039;s a real shame.  As the Google Apps promo video says, in the past all companies used to generate there own electricty in the form of water/wind mills etc and the idea of plugging into a National Grid was considered ludicrous.  Now it&#039;s ubiquitous!

Have you had any downtime with Google Apps?
