I was really inspired by this idea, so this week I have been doing something similar using the street view feature of Google Maps with my mixed yr2/3 class. The quality of writing has been great, particularly from my least able writers. It helps that like you, I’ve tied it in with a brilliant book. In my case we’ve been working on “The Lost Thing” by Shaun Tan, which has given us lots of scope for using ICT.

Fantastic idea Tom, and one that I shall be discussing with staff at the next staff meeting I lead, to further embed ICT into all areas of our curriculum.
