My goodness...with all these HUGE jobs, when do you eat and sleep?! We are hosting some visitors from the UK to our district in early February. I believe they are from Telford. I am anxious to meet them and share ideas.

Your blog is very informative and exciting to read. My next goal is to twitter....and I trying to determine how I will use it... usefully!

Thank you for creating such a great site for visitors from afar like myself.

Hello Tom,
I know right where you are! We attended a family wedding last year in Burton-Upon-Trent and had a blast with my two teens. I am in the process of final editing our Biomes of the World Google Earth Tour. I will be happy to post it here when I get the last 20 or so placemarks checked for spelling and copyright violations!

I've just stumbled across your blog and I love it--I think it's terrific!!

However, it is not perfect--the jargon has thrown me for a loop; what does ``ICT'' mean?

Hi Tom,

Very nice wiki, great navigation and super content. I have been working on a website for my 3rd year Geography dissertation in Ireland. It is attempting to create a platform for Google Earth in Irish Education. The biggest problems I have incountered have been around the blocking power of the schools internet filtering body in Ireland (NTCE). It tooks weeks to get off the ground with anything remotely web 2.0. Teachertube is the only video sharing site we can use, and probably the slowest. It drives me mad that anyone in education with an interest in developing communication technology between schools is put off instantly. I am in contact with people in the UK such as Jamie Buchanan-Dunlop at www.digitalexplorer.com, it seems you have the same problems. Anyway, it would be good if you would link my site. I will do likewise.
Lovely work

Hi Tom. Great thoughts on ICT in teaching & learning. Thanks. I am in South Australia but have a student from Nottingham in my class so he'll be pleased that I've found you. :-)
